2. Collection and Use of Personal Data

We collect personal information when you fill in the forms on our website, register for an account or contact us for support. This information may include:

Check your trial balance

If you use the “Check your trial balance” tool on the website, we collect:

• the trial balance file that you upload (PDF or Excel) and the analysis made on it;
• the company’s public data from ANAF (National Agency for Fiscal Administration), based on the tax identification code (CUI);
• your name, your email address and, optionally, your telephone number, plus the answers you fill in on the form.

We use this data to show you the report and to contact you about the report, including on behalf of the eConta sales team.

The trial balance is analysed automatically. OpenAI is a data processor for the text of the explanations in the report. We send the trial balance file to OpenAI only when we cannot read it automatically.

The file and the analysis are deleted after 30 days. Your contact details stay in our CRM (HubSpot) for as long as we have a legitimate reason to contact you or until you ask for them to be deleted. Your rights are those in section 5.

3. Data Security

We are committed to protecting the personal data of our users. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent unauthorised access to, disclosure or destruction of personal data. Access to your data is limited to our employees and collaborators who need to know it in order to provide you with our services.
