Questions about accounting for Uber and Bolt

What documents do I need for a PFA on Bolt or Uber?

In short: a PFA registered in your name, the car documents (registration certificate or leasing contract, technical inspection, insurance), your driving licence and the authorisations required for alternative passenger transport. Each platform also asks for its own documents when you sign up. You see them in its app. The legal part (the articles of association, CAEN codes and filing with the Trade Register) is done by a lawyer. CAEN code 4933 is often used for ride-hailing, but the right codes are chosen when the PFA is set up. More about setting up a PFA.

What taxes does a PFA pay for Uber and Bolt?

Income tax and the CAS and CASS contributions (social security and health insurance), declared in the Single Tax Return (Form 212). Whether you work under the income norm or the real income system, and whether you pass the CAS and CASS thresholds, is decided with your accountant. At eConta, the Single Tax Return for your PFA income is included in the subscription. See more on the PFA accounting page.

PFA or SRL for ride-hailing?

It depends on how many cars you have, how much you earn and whether you have employees. Compare them in the SRL vs PFA calculator and talk to an accountant. If you want to switch later, see moving from a PFA to an SRL.

Do you import the Uber and Bolt reports automatically?

No. You send the reports by email or WhatsApp and they reach your accountant. eConta is not a partner of Uber or Bolt.

How much does accounting cost for an Uber or Bolt driver?

39 € a month for a PFA, with the Single Tax Return included for your PFA income, and 49 € a month for an SRL, with 30 documents included. Prices do not include VAT. For fleets, the offer depends on the number of cars. See the PFA prices.

I already have an accountant. Can I move to eConta?

Yes. We call you, see what you have and take over the company or the PFA from your current accountant. The steps are on the page Change your accountant.
